Beiersdorf is the German skin care company founded in Hamburg in 1882, home to NIVEA, Eucerin, Labello, La Prairie and Hansaplast. In Argentona, outside Barcelona, sits Beiersdorf Manufacturing Argentona: the plant that makes Hansaplast, Elastoplast and Curitas plasters for much of the world. Three shooting days inside it, each for a different reason.

01 · DAY 01 · SUPPLY CHAIN
THE INTERNATIONAL DIRECTORS, ON THE FLOOR
The global and LATAM head supply chain directors travelled to Argentona for a strategy review: annual and long-term targets and risk analysis. The day ran through the offices, through the plant and ended with a speech to the workforce. A day like this is covered the way a real meeting is covered: without interrupting it. The working session, the walk through production and the moments in between, which are usually the ones that best show how the place works.

02 · DAY 02 · MANAGEMENT
THE MEETINGS THAT DO NOT GET A SECOND TAKE
The directors' visit: the CEO's right hand and the marketing director, with meetings in the offices and a walk through the plant. On the table: the company review, packaging and product improvements, accident levels and reporting, and safety priorities. A day of meetings does not get a second take for the camera. Either you are where you need to be at the moment it happens, or that photo no longer exists. An internal event photographed knowing that half of what is delivered will end up communicating outside the company.

03 · DAY 03 · SAFETY & QUALITY DAY
ZERO ACCIDENTS, TOLD THE WAY A TEAM IS TOLD
A day for the workers, run by the safety and quality department as a team-building format: games and activities spread across different points of the plant. The workshop was about safety awareness in the daily life of people working around heavy machinery. Zero accidents is part of the company's mission and values, and that day it was explained through play rather than on a slide. An external speaker closed the day on the plant's internal waste management and how to make it sustainable.

04 · METHOD & DELIVERY
THREE DAYS, TWO OPERATORS, ONE CRITERION
Three shooting days at the Argentona plant, with two camera operators on each. Filming corporate work inside a running factory has its rules: production does not stop, safety protocols and protective equipment are not negotiable, and what can be shown of a line is decided by the client before anyone walks in. Two video pieces were also delivered. The material was cut for internal and external use worldwide, and in the formats the marketing and communications departments asked for: digital, print, banners.
