We designed and developed the website for Potala Hospice, a secular end-of-life companionship association. A welcoming space to request support, volunteer and contribute.

01 · CONTENT

A PATH FOR EVERY VISITOR

Potala Hospice accompanies people with advanced illnesses and their families. The website needed to explain this work sensitively and lead every visitor to their next step. We organised the content into three paths: requesting companionship, training as a volunteer and contributing. Each one with its own page and way to get in touch.

02 · WEB DESIGN

WARM, CALM AND EASY TO READ

Cream backgrounds, serif headlines with italics in the emblem’s orange and photographs with organic, cornerless shapes. Orange marks the main actions and generous spacing lets visitors read at their own pace.

03 · DEVELOPMENT

ALL THEIR WORK IN ONE WEBSITE

We built the complete website with Next.js: the association, companionship, volunteering, activities, the hospice project, contributions and contact, with shared navigation and components. The course brings together pathway, programme and registration, and forms ask for the reason for each enquiry so every message arrives well directed.

BUILT FOR MOBILE

Visit the Potala website

On mobile the homepage rearranges image and text, the menu folds away and buttons keep enough room to tap. We launched with optimised images, metadata, a sitemap and structured data at potalahospiceluzclara.org.
